This photo is important to me since it was taken during my first solo, overnight, backcountry camping experience in the mountains of Colorado. For the foreground, I used a series of 5 images and focus stacked them to get each flower sharp. My next step was to wait for golden hour and catch the light on the mountains. After shooting golden hour, it was time to relax and wait for darkness. Around 10pm I started my interval for 300 shots. The moon rose and lit up the entire campground, as if it were daylight. A memory I will cherish for the rest of my life.
